The Claude Skill That Builds Your Claude Skills

Do This Now

I kept putting off building Claude skills because I did not know what to write.

The blank page problem is real. You know the job you want Claude to do. You can describe it in a sentence. But turning that into a properly structured set of instructions, with the right inputs, outputs, format, and tone, felt like a task for someone who knew what they were doing. I did not feel like that person.

Then I found out there is a built-in skill whose only job is to build other skills for you.

It is called the Skill Creator. You open Claude Desktop, go to Customise, click Skills, search for Skill Creator, and install it. Then you open a new chat and describe the job you want Claude to do. You tell it the input, the output, the format, the tone. The Skill Creator asks follow-up questions to get the details it needs. You answer in plain English. A few minutes later, your new skill is ready to install. It auto-activates every time Claude recognises that task in a future conversation.

I used it to build a weekly content review skill. I described what I wanted, answered about eight questions, and had a working skill installed in under fifteen minutes. It has run the same way every week since, without me rewriting instructions or correcting drift.

The hard part of building a Claude skill was always writing good instructions. The Skill Creator removes that barrier. What you still bring, and what no tool can replace, is the insight, experience, and context that makes the skill specific to your business.

Open the Skill Creator today. Describe the first recurring job you want Claude to take off your plate.
