Most Business Owners Are Using AI at the Wrong Level
17 June 2026

There are three levels to using AI in your business, and the one you're stuck on is capping everything you get back.
Stage one is on-demand. You open Claude, type something, read the reply, close the tab. It only works on whatever you think to ask. You're still the bottleneck for everything it does.
Stage two is connected. You give it access to your calendar, your inbox, your systems. It can take actions inside your business without you running each one manually. Most of the business owners I work with are somewhere in here.
Stage three is agentic. You give it a goal. It works out the steps itself and keeps going until the job is done. You don't manage the process.
The simplest thing I've built at stage three is a scheduled task in Claude Cowork. I describe a recurring job, set a time, and it runs every week without a prompt from me. The gap between stage two and stage three is the gap between an assistant waiting for the next instruction and one who just gets on with the work.
Most of your competitors are not at stage three yet.
Open Claude Cowork. Set up one scheduled task.
