Claude Duet works while you sleep

Claude finally has a personal assistant that works while you sleep.

Anthropic announced Claude Duet this week. Every AI tool you've used so far sits there until you open it and type. Duet runs on its own computer in the cloud, keeps checking your inbox and calendar through the day, sends you a short brief every morning, and only messages you when something needs you.

It can book meetings and even buy things. Before it sends, pays, signs or deletes anything, it shows you the plan and waits for your yes.

The big claim is judgement, knowing which email needs an answer today and which can wait until Friday. Anthropic admits it can still misjudge what's urgent, and for now it's a waitlist for Pro and Max subscribers in the US.
