You're stuck on AI level one

There are five levels of using AI in your business. Most owners never get past the first one.

Level one is the chat window. You ask a question, it answers, and it forgets everything when you close the tab. Every session starts from scratch.

Level two, it knows your business. You write down what you sell, who buys it, and how you talk about it. Load that into a project once, and AI stops guessing. It responds like someone who actually works with you.

Level three, it follows your rules. Your standards, your process, your preferences are written down. AI makes the routine calls without you correcting it every time.

Level four, it is connected to your tools. Your inbox, calendar, CRM, accounts. It does the work instead of telling you how to do it.

Level five, it runs on a schedule. Jobs happen in the background. It only comes to you when something needs a human decision.

Each level takes more setup, but saves more time once it is running. The gap between level one and level five is the gap between a search engine and a team member.

I run most of my own work at level four and five now. Getting there took about two weeks of setup spread across a few months.

The jump from one to two takes about twenty minutes. Write one page covering what you sell, who buys it, how you talk to them, and how you do things. Load it into a Claude project or save it as a reference file, and give it to AI at the start of every session.

That single page is what moves you from generic chatbot answers to responses that sound like they came from inside your business.
