Your website's most important line

Do This Now

If you vibe coded your website, its most important line is one you've probably never looked at. There's a good chance AI filled it with the name of a coding tool.

I don't mean the big headline on your homepage. I mean the page title. It's the blue link Google shows in search results, the text on your browser tab, and the preview when someone shares your page in a text or on LinkedIn. One line, making your first impression everywhere your page travels.

When AI builds a website, every page starts with a placeholder title. 'Vite + React' is the classic, the default left behind by the tool that generated the code. Nobody changes it, because it's invisible unless you know where to look. So a finished, professional-looking site goes live introducing itself to Google as a piece of developer software.

The fix takes a few seconds per page. Tell your AI: give every page its own real title and a one-line description, written for the person searching, not for the code.

Your homepage title should say what you do and who it's for. 'Accountants for Irish trades businesses' will always beat 'Vite + React'. And every page needs its own, because each one shows up in search separately. Your pricing page and your contact page travel on their own too.

Pull up your site today and read your browser tabs, one page at a time. If any of them name a coding tool, you know exactly what to fix this afternoon.
