Three Lines That Fix Claude's Most Annoying Habits

If every Claude response starts by repeating your question back at you and closes with "let me know if you need anything," you haven't told it to stop.

Three lines in your Project Instructions fix this permanently. Five minutes, once.

First: no disclaimers. Claude defaults to "please note" and "it's worth mentioning" on almost everything. That language belongs in a legal brief, not a business conversation. One line cuts it.

Second: start with the answer. Claude has a habit of restating the question before responding. It wastes the first four lines of every output. One line removes the preamble.

Third: no filler summaries. Most responses end with a recap of what you just read, or a "let me know if there's anything else I can help with" that nobody reads. One line cuts that too.
