Look at the bottom of Claude's message box and you'll find a small switch between Chat and Cowork. Chat answers you one reply at a time, and you carry the job between replies. Cowork takes the whole job, splits it into pieces, and runs several copies of itself on those pieces at the same time. You can watch them working in parallel on your screen.

At the end of July I handed it three free guides I'd been promising people for weeks. It wrote the landing pages, built the PDFs, set up the email tagging, and filed everything where it belongs. A month of guilt cleared in one sitting.

The mistake I'd been making was feeding it pieces. Ask for a landing page, get a landing page, then start again from scratch on the PDF. Handing over the full job, with every part named at the start, is what turned one afternoon into a month's worth of output.
