Make Claude run your repeat jobs on a schedule

Do This Now

Every week you run the same handful of jobs by hand. The Monday report, the inbox summary, the Friday update, all of it started by you, every single time.

Doing it by hand is like emptying a swimming pool with a teaspoon. The job isn't hard. It's the same thing over and over, and it's always you starting it. Most owners accept that as the cost of running a small business, but it doesn't have to be. It's just a job you've never handed over, because there was nothing to hand it to.

There is now. Claude can run jobs on a schedule, inside Cowork on the desktop app. You set the job up once, you pick how often it runs, and from then on it runs on its own. Hourly, daily, weekly, or just weekdays. Each run starts a fresh session with your files and your connectors, does the work, and leaves the result waiting for you.

It only runs while your laptop is on and the Claude app is open, because the job runs on your own machine.

Take guest reviews, or anything piling up unanswered because nobody has a spare ten minutes. Set a task to run every morning, pull the new ones, and draft a reply to each in your voice. You read them over coffee and send. Every review gets a reply now, and you never have to remember to start it.

That's the work to hand over first. The admin you repeat on a fixed rhythm, that you keep doing by hand only because you always have.

Open Claude, go to Cowork, type /schedule, and pick one job you keep redoing by hand.
