Let Claude Interview You. It Writes Better Instructions Than You Ever Would.
25 June 2026

You type the same explanation into Claude at the start of every conversation. Who you are, what your business does, how you like things written, every single time.
The fix takes ten minutes, and you only do it once.
Open Claude. Start a new conversation and give it one job: "Interview me and write a set of instructions I can use across every session." Answer the questions it asks. Your name, what your business does, your communication style, what you never want Claude to do.
When it's done, copy that document and paste it into your Project Instructions in Settings. Claude reads it at the start of every conversation from that point. It knows who you are before you type a single word.
The second step that makes this stick: drop five examples of your own writing into Claude. Long emails, proposals, client documents. Tell it to analyse your voice and match it every time it writes for you. That bakes your style into every piece of output.
I've run this setup with clients across industries. The people getting the most from Claude did the ten-minute setup once and let the tool do the rest. The clever prompts matter far less than that.
Do it today. One session. You won't type that explanation again.
