How to read a list of 100+ open AI agents and find the one worth building
3 June 2026

Every week someone tells you AI will change your business. You still can't picture what it would actually do for you on a normal Tuesday.
The problem is that nearly every AI demo you see is built to sell you something, with a polished screen and a result that looks like magic. You can't tell what's real and what's a mockup, so you nod along and close the tab.
So I send people to look at the real ones instead.
Someone has put over a hundred working AI agents online, free, with all the code open. Over a hundred thousand people have bookmarked it. Open code means there's nowhere to hide a mockup. You can see exactly what goes in and exactly what comes out.
Don't try to read all of it. Three things tell you whether an agent is worth your time.
First, does it match a task you repeat every single week.
Second, can you tell what goes in and what comes out in about thirty seconds. If you can't, move on.
Third, can you put a number on the hours it would save. If you can't, it's a toy.
Take the meeting agent in there. It reads a transcript and gives you back an agenda and a written set of notes. If you're a consultant or an adviser, that's your Friday afternoon, every week. There's a recruitment one that reads CVs and gives you a shortlist. Both are running right now, with the code in the open for anyone to check.
You don't need to write a line of code to use any of this. You use it to see what's already real, then decide what to get built.
Search awesome LLM apps on GitHub and find the one that matches your Tuesday.
